Derek Schwede
Derek Schwede joined the Technology Transactions Group at Morrison Foerster in San Francisco, California after graduating from Harvard Law School. While at Morrison Foerster, Derek drafted and negotiated outsourcing, software license and joint development agreements for clients ranging from start-ups to multinationals and assisted in M&A transactions for major Silicon Valley companies. Derek has lived in Taipei, Republic of China, where he attended the International Chinese Language Program at National Taiwan University.
Derek received a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in History and Asian Studies from Rice University and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School. Derek joined as an associate in December, 2010.
Derek is admitted to practice in California.
