We now offer monthly fixed-fee subscription pricing. Our standard subscription covers all of the services a client receives from the firm during a month. The fee is as agreed by us and the client in advance and the client’s commitment is strictly month-to-month. We also offer a subscription which is tailored specifically to open source in which we create, implement and help manage a client’s open source usage policy for a set monthly fee.
Under the standard subscription we will:
- negotiate all of your technology transaction deals
- create and update your forms
- provide unlimited deal and legal counseling
- implement a deal flow process for your sales and business development teams
- attend executive staff, board or other company meetings and training sessions
- provide all of the services we offer under our open source subscription
Under the open source subscription we will:
- create an open source usage policy customized to your company, products and concerns
- implement the policy by working with your IT, engineering, legal and procurement teams?
- provide access to our exhaustive license matrix and briefers on open source issues
- answer all of your open source related questions
Under each subscription we provide:
1. Team Support
Our subscription services are provided by our full team of four attorneys. While you will have a dedicated partner and associate lead, each attorney in the firm will be familiar with your company, products and deals and available to help on your matters. We will also host your forms on an easily accessible Web portal so that you always have easy access to the latest version of every document.
2. Predictable Fees
A set fee means perfect predictability every month and the ability to accurately budget your legal fees over fiscal periods.
3. Custom Rates
Each client’s fee is based on that particular client’s needs. The first month of the service is an exploratory month in which we provide the full range of our services and also meet with your executives and key deal personnel, attend product demos and otherwise learn about your business. At the end of the month, we meet with you and agree upon a monthly rate going forward. That rate will continue until either party requests an adjustment.
